Cookie and Local Storage Notice

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Local storage lets the browser retain interface preferences. Server logs and cookie-free aggregate analytics are not cookies, but they may process necessary technical information.

2. Current use

• Language preference: remembers Chinese or English until browser data is cleared or the preference cookie expires
• Theme preference: uses local storage to remember light, dark, or system theme until browser data is cleared
• Necessary security logs: hosting and security services may record IP address, time, request path, browser, and device information, generally for no more than 90 days
• Vercel Web Analytics: provides aggregate page statistics without cookies or cross-site identification; its visitor hash resets after 24 hours
• The current website does not use advertising-targeting or cross-site marketing cookies

3. Error monitoring

If error monitoring is enabled in production, it may collect error type, time, page path, device, and browser information for troubleshooting. Session replay is disabled in the current configuration, and form content, patient information, and other sensitive data must not be sent to the monitoring service.

4. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may affect language, theme, or form functionality.

If we later enable non-essential cookies or tracking that requires consent, we will obtain a choice before setting them and provide equally accessible accept, reject, and withdrawal controls. This notice will also be updated.
